If you're familiar with this year's OHL Draft crop of '02-born players, you're probably aware that this happens to be a goaltending class that could not only stand the test of hindsight, but potentially go down as one of the stronger crops in recent draft history.
While that's all fine and dandy, it got us thinking, are goaltenders in the OHL Priority Selection really being valued correctly? There seems to be this lingering stigma surrounding goaltenders in the draft, but why is that?
Why shouldn't names like Lennox and Vrbetic be associated with the first-round? Is there a case to be made that perhaps, this position is being underrated at draft tables across the league?
